Door slams shut on Opportunity 2-Sweepstakes 3 Opportunity OPEN

31 Brave Souls applied for the second opportunity in my upcoming sweepstakes.  Without further ado...after three randomizations.....

The winner is Jafronius! Our field now includes Backstop Cards and Jafronius.

Opportunity three is now on the table for your entry!  For this one you may just enter but I would like to get your input on the subject of Bipping.  Share a story, share your opinion. I'm just kinda curious this evening!  Good Luck at spot #3!

  1. I think bipping is fun but the dramatic increase in shipping cost has made the epic bipping a rarity.

  2. Never really been Bipped. Or Bipped someone. One of those two things should change... Muahahahahahaha...

  3. I have actually been considering Bipping a few people. I think this contest entry is a sign I should.

  4. In again. Never been bipped. Yet.

  5. Hmmm...I'm totally out of it. I hope this doesn't ruin my chances to be in the contest, but I have no idea what bipping is.

Is it related to something Bip Roberts used to do?

  6. Based on the comments so far , it sounds like the USPS is gonna be busy..

  7. Total NOOB here, not sure what Bipping is....Urban dictionary is referring to drugs so I guess I have never been bipped...but then again I have been to a few bars with watered down beer...does that count?

  8. I've been bipped, but never with actual Bips.

  10. Never been bipped, but I may start ARodding people as I empty my collection of his cards...

  11. I've neither been the Bipper or Bippee. For those of you saying you don't know, Bipping is sending many copies of one card to an unsuspecting victim. I believe it started out with a particular Bip Roberts card, but any player may now be featured.

  12. You bet your sweet bippy--Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In--I've a feeling we're not talking about the same thing

  13. I enjoy being able to find a grip of the same card to Bip someone with. It doesn't happen often but, it is fun when it does occur.

  14. I just got 8 1984 Garry Maddox's in the mail, thats a sort of bipping.. honestly I quite enjoyed it.. does that make me odd?

And that was just one of the bippings.

  17. I haven't really been bipped either, but I might need the Lost Collector to shoot me some of those Arod's for the Steroids Project!!

  18. at the height of bipping two or three years ago, beardy (i miss that dude) boomeranged an attempted bipping, so i wound up bipping myself.

  19. You provided me with the only bipping of my blogging career so far, Wes! I have yet to send out a bipping, though...

  20. I've just never had enough of one card to do a proper bipping. I've made a few meager attempts, once sent a half-dozen '92 Topps Lasordas to a Dodgers collector, which features an army of Dodgers jogging. But I think it hardly got a Bip-ognition.

  21. Never had it done to me, but I think the idea of it is hilarious.

  22. I put my hand up on your hip, when I Bip, you Bip, we Bip.

  23. I have not yet been bipped but i have been biebered!

  24. I've never been Bipped, just read about it through the years. Pretty interesting that most people here haven't been Bipped. Like GCRL said, the height of it was 2-3 years ago and I guess it involved other bloggers.

  25. I've never been bipped by a blogger, but I bought a 1500 count box of commons from my LCS a few years ago and there were twenty-five 1985 Topps Mark Clear cards in it. I thought that was kind of mean.

  26. I've been bipped once, and I've also bipped in the past. I think it is a lost art that may or may not make a come-back.

  27. Never been bipped before, never bipped anyone. It just goes to show that you should know who you're buying from before you commit any significant $$$.

  28. I love that someone reached out to Bip Roberts on Twitter and told him about Bipping and that he enjoyed hearing about it. I've certainly got some ammunition if anyone might be interested in a bipping war...
