I think you gained. Replacements are a pain. I don't wait for mine. After the four month period, I always get mine replaced. I would rather have a card in hand then not have anything at all.
IDK, I don't know who Tyrell Jenkins or Ryan Ripken are. They should have shipped you an auto of Jay Barker. Now that would have been some superb customer service.
Seems like their should be a better way to handle these situations. At least you got some name recognition with Cal's son. He is kind of a fringe prospect, but at least the card has a cool backstory.
So after three years they just give up?
That's actually good news for me. I had TWO of the exact same redemptions pending. 2 Tyrell Jenkins refractor autos from 2012 BP. My status hasn't changed on their redemption site, but at least theres hope. The only complaint I would have, and that you should have as well, is that what you got wasn't a refractor auto. It also isn't numbered, which the BP ones should have been. A Ripken refractor auto would have been acceptable, a base auto, not as much.
I will always it go with the alliterative name
I would agree to agree with Matt, not numbered or a refractor, not equal.
Base versus refractor...is Ryan Ripken a big-time prospect or is he just known for the fact that dad is Cal?
Better late than never? Have the same Tyrell Jenkins redemption myself and 3 years is just a little crazy. Can't wait to see what half-assed replacement I get.
I had a Tyrell Jenkins redemption and also got the Ryan Ripken card. I got mine yesterday. As of today I think we did worse.http://swingandapopupboston.blogspot.com/2015/05/954-days.html
