I have added the Blog of the Year Candidates Poll to my page.  I do believe I have added all that were nominated but if I missed someone that you nominated please let me know.  I also took the liberty to add two more choices to the poll that I didn't see nominations for as well. JBF First Annual Blog of the Year Contest

In honor of  all the great blogs I have discovered this year, welcome to the First Annual J.B.F. Blog of the Year Contest.

I will be taking nominations for the best blog of 2011.  Here are some rules:

Each reader may nominate one blog-it cannot be there own, it cannot be jbf's junk, you cannot nominate someone that nominated you.

Nominations will be accepted until December 24th. Voting will run from December 25-31
My vote will only be used in the event of a tie.

The winning blog will receive a prize,
The person that nominated that blog will win a prize,
One winner will be selected via random.org for simply participating
Another winner will be selected from those that promote this contest on their blog.

Tieing up some loose ends. Next to last post of the year.

Well, it has been a trying month or so that has kept me away from blogging.  Financial problems and marital problems do a number on you but  I'm here with a few housekeeping items, some reflection, and an invitation for next year.

I.  Still have, I believe, two packages left to ship from my recent sale. Diamond King and San Jose Fuji coming this week. Sorry for the delay gentleman.

II.  Only have one package left to ship from the blog draft party contest. Again, sorry Fuji, I will have that out this week as well.

III.  First year of blogging here and I feel it was a mixed bag.  At times I was very active. Other times I was a ghost.  9988 pageviews,  128 posts, 62 followers.

IV.  Summer of giving update. Only ended up giving away 10,146 cards.  I did have some entrants in that contest from back in May/June so I will be trying to find something for a couple of those peeps.

V.  Goals for 2012
I would like to get over 25,000 pageviews at some point next year.
Wouldn't mind getting to 100 followers
Shooting to top 300 posts next year
Give away a bunch more cards in 2012-I'm  gonna shoot for 25000 cards sent out again this year.
Get to know many more great blogger readers and fellow bloggers

VI.  An invitation
I'm asking all readers to please shoot me an email with what your team collecting interests and player interests are.  I have lost most of my information due to computer change over and email being compromised.  I just want to know more about my readers and who/what they collect as it gives me more people to bestow unwanted cards upon.  lifebythedrop79@yahoo.com

Thank you so much to everyone so far that has helped me out by purchasing lots from me this weekend.  Still need to move some more cards and raise some more fundage asap, so I'm relisting my offer one more time.

A 30 Card Lot(You name baseball or football).  Each lot will include 1 GU or auto and at least 1 #'d card.  If you want to specify a team for the other 28 cards I will do my best to fill it that way. Asking $2 per lot and $2 shipping per, paypal needed.  If you buy more I will definitely make it worth your while.  Give me a hand if you can.  Please pass it along if you know anyone that might be looking to buy some cards on the cheap.
