Another 69 Topps Update

I have gotten quite a bit of help and located a lot for my 1969 Topps Set lately.  PTown Tom sent me a Hammering Hank! and a Roberto Clemente !!  In a PWE!!!!   I think my insanity may be wearing off on my buddy TOM!  I really knocked a big one off the list this week!  Check it out!

2014 Project- THE TECNICOLOR FLAGSHIP FRANKENSET

My advance apologies to Diamond King and any other blogger that I plagiarize in this endeavor!

I have decided that I want to put together a multicolor parallel version of the 2014 Flagship set-A Technicolor frankenset if you will.

I will need help from the blogosphere to attempt this endeavor!  The many, many colored parallels seem to irk some but I actually like them.  Enough in fact to put together a magnificent multicolored dream frankenset this year.

So if you aren't feeling all the colors-Then I have an offer for you!

I'm looking for any colored parallels in order to put together a whole set run.  For anyone that chooses to unload colored parallels on me I will do two things:

A.  I will send a return package with something that hopefully fits your wants and interests.

B.  I will give you an entry into my Technicolor Frankenset contest.  1 card=1 entry, 10 cards=ten entries.

When I have completed the Series 1 Frankenset I will hold a drawing for all that have entries and choose four winners.  Each winner may choose from this pool of available prize cards:

Some 2014 Topps Thoughts without pictures

I'm sure the blogosphere is starting to overdose on 2014 Topps. But I'm sure someone is dying to know my thoughts lol. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on where you stand, I won't be able to post any 2014 Topps Pictures. My digital camera is acting up. But anywho, I do have some thoughts:

Still haven't seen any flagship at local Target stores-Wonder why?

I've checked three different ones.

I don't like so many horizontal cards.  Also way too many multiplayer cards for my taste!

I don't mind the Future Stars gimmick. But it's not bowling me over either.

The inserts don't really do it for me.

Collation in the Cereal Boxes seems horrible.

I actually like the parallels. Even the yellow ones! I even have a project in mind for said parallels-COMING SOON

The odds on the Power Players Parallels do not seem right at all. 1:3 in the product I busted but so far the odds are at 1:10.

I'm not far from finishing the set. Just need to put together my checklist. If you've read this far then I salute you. Please comment with your utmost contempt for TOPPS.
