Willinghammers from France by way of New York

Earlier this week my friend Kevin from the Card Papoy alerted me that some Willinghammers were Alabama bound!  He was right on the money because these beauties arrived today!!

Willinghammer Roundup-Year long contest

I decided recently to become the sole owner of all josh Willingham cards and I would like you to help!

I am thinking a good ole year long contest is in order.  Here is the deets:

1.  Send me any willinghammers you desire!
2.  I will reciprocate with a trade package for you.
3.  Each Willinghammer will gain you points.  Base or inserts will be worth one point each.  #d cards will be worth two points. Gu or auto cards will be worth three points each.  Wow cards will receive a bonus point. Max points for any single card will be four.  Low serial numbers below 100 or multicolor jerseys will get you the wow bonus.  Other things may gain you the wow bonus as well at my discretion.
4.  At the end of the year all that participated will take part in a draft party consisting of cards which i will be revealing each Wednesday. I will also update points on the Wednesday posts.  The draft order will be determined by the points awarded.

A new era begins- Welcome to Willinghammer Rising!

Today is the first day in the rebirthing of the jaybarkerfan's junk blog as WILLINGHAMMER RISING!  Here I will be sharing my acquisition of all of the Josh Willingham cards that I can get.  #allofthem

Today I want to share some cards sent to me from my friend Brian who is the author of Highly Subjective and Completely Arbitrary.  He was nice enough to send me some Bammers(still recovering from that game), some Reduses, and most importantly some Willinghammers.

The journey that will be 2017

The blogging world is alive with recaps of last year and goals for 2017.  I have decided there will be some changes in my sphere as well.  Beginning now my collecting energy will be fully directed towards my Josh Willingham collection.  The only exception will be Mike Wilks jersey cards from ud hardcourt and Steve Woodard autos from draft signature.  There may be a blog name change to reflect my full steam ahead new direction and new content will center on these conquests.  I will be doing a great deal of unloading on eBay next week to thin my horde.  Also i will be sending lots of cards to two gentleman who i know can help get them to folks on here who will really enjoy them. Mr bwtp and Scc.  Consider them executors of my cardboard estate.  I am confident this thinning of my collection and renewed direction will be a breath of fresh air into my zest for collecting.  I will still be around and checking everyone out even if im not posting.  Wishing you all a happy and safe 2017!
