Tieing up some loose ends. Next to last post of the year.

Well, it has been a trying month or so that has kept me away from blogging.  Financial problems and marital problems do a number on you but  I'm here with a few housekeeping items, some reflection, and an invitation for next year.

I.  Still have, I believe, two packages left to ship from my recent sale. Diamond King and San Jose Fuji coming this week. Sorry for the delay gentleman.

II.  Only have one package left to ship from the blog draft party contest. Again, sorry Fuji, I will have that out this week as well.

III.  First year of blogging here and I feel it was a mixed bag.  At times I was very active. Other times I was a ghost.  9988 pageviews,  128 posts, 62 followers.

IV.  Summer of giving update. Only ended up giving away 10,146 cards.  I did have some entrants in that contest from back in May/June so I will be trying to find something for a couple of those peeps.

V.  Goals for 2012
I would like to get over 25,000 pageviews at some point next year.
Wouldn't mind getting to 100 followers
Shooting to top 300 posts next year
Give away a bunch more cards in 2012-I'm  gonna shoot for 25000 cards sent out again this year.
Get to know many more great blogger readers and fellow bloggers

Redus Supercollection Update

Back in August, I blogged about starting up Gary Redus super collection.  He has 160 different cards that I know about.  I have now reached 66 different Redus cards.  When I reach the halfway point, I'm going to post a list of what I still need.  But until then, if you have any Gary Redus cards, please give me an idea of what you got and we will make a deal!!

Blog Draft Party Packages Shipping update

After leaving the post office today from sending some 100th blog post draft party packages, I made a decision.  I often make irrational decisions.  Sometimes I make good decisions, sometimes I make bad like anyone else.   Well, after the last few days of thinkings, I have made a decision....

  TODAY NOVEMBER 7TH I WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE MY INTENT TO PURSUE THE 2O11 TOPPS DIAMOND COGNAC PARALLEL SET

It will most likely be the most nerve wracking set I have ever attempted.  No, it's definitely the former.  I am starting with almost nothing and have more than a 1000 cards to go.  Way to early to even list a have list or a want list.  If you wanna assist me in my voyage into insanity, I'm sure we can strike up a deal. 

It's go time...15/1071 is my progress as of this afternoon.  So join the insanity.

Final Round of the 100th Blog Post Draft Party-Mystery Round-Prelims

I sincerely hope all have had a blast. Thank you again to everyone that has read or reads my blog. The time has come for the final round of my contest...The Mystery Round.

Here's how it's gonna work...
There are 21 prizes in this final round. Each will start as a mystery with simply a # 1-21 attached

Each player has one pick in this round
Fuji has two bonus picks, Matt has 3 bonus picks, CCC has 3 bonus picks, Potch has 1, and SCB.net has two
I will post a draft order at some point over the weekend and we will then begin
After the order is revealed, whomever has the first pick will select a # and that prize will be revealed.
#2 will have an opportunity to steal that prize or select their own. 
It will continue this way throughout the draft. Each prize can only be stolen once.  If you steal it, then its yours.  The person that lost that prize may then select a new number or steal another prize.
